303278 OMC SUPPORT

The OMC 303278 is an armature plate support used in the ignition system of Johnson Evinrude outboard motors rated 4-40 HP from 1968-1976. This support plate holds the armature assembly in position relative to the flywheel magnet to ensure proper ignition timing. Compatible with models including 5502, 5503, 5602C, 5602R, 5603C, and multiple LD-series engines. This is original equipment inventory, marked as NOS (New Old Stock), and increasingly difficult to locate as original production stock.
