OEM OMC Johnson/Evinrude throttle control gear (393943) is part of the remote control linkage system that transmits throttle commands from the helm to the carburetor. Engages with the throttle shaft and control rod mechanism. Used on OMC Johnson/Evinrude outboards equipped with remote steering and throttle control. Wear in the gear causes sluggish throttle response or binding. Replacement required if teeth are stripped or gear is cracked.
