This genuine OEM O-ring (part #305123) seals the propeller shaft housing on OMC (Outboard Marine Corporation) outboard motors, including Johnson and Evinrude engines. It keeps water out and gearcase lubricant in at the shaft housing, protecting the bearing and gears from contamination.
