308292 OMC SEAL

OMC 0308292 is an exhaust housing seal designed for Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors from the 1960s-1970s. This gasket seals between the bottom motor cover and exhaust housing on models including 18/20/25 HP variants. It prevents water and exhaust gas leakage at the housing interface. Now considered obsolete by some restorers; vintage new old stock pieces remain available from marine suppliers. Replacement options using foam gasket material exist for restoration work.
