330525 OMC PAWL STARTER

The 330525 is a starter pawl for OMC Johnson/Evinrude outboard motors. The pawl is a spring-loaded mechanism that engages the engine’s flywheel during manual starting, transferring torque from the starter rope to the engine. Once the engine speed exceeds the starter speed, the pawl automatically disengages and retracts, preventing damage to the starter motor. Compatible with Johnson and Evinrude models from 3 to 35 horsepower. Pre-lubricated for smooth operation and treated with anti-corrosion coating to resist saltwater and freshwater degradation. Sierra 18-6512 is an equivalent replacement.
