Genuine Yamaha propeller shear pin (6E0-45615-00) designed for 4A and 5C 2-stroke small outboard engines from 1988 onwards. This safety component deliberately breaks under excessive propeller load to protect the engine and propeller from damage. Shear pins are consumable and should be inspected regularly and replaced whenever bent, cracked, or if propeller damage has occurred. Keep spare pins on board during operation.
